MR=Martin, O=Ola, R=Roger, S= Sofia, PJ=Peter Jöback
-Martin Rolinski. There he is.
MR: Hi hi !
-A little shorter hair then earlier.
MR: A bit shorter hair. Maybe less fat also.
-Is that true ? You exercise like a maniac.
MR: I become a father. Then maybe I was a bit lazy. But now I have started again.
-Five times a week I have read that you exercise. It said so. But you are on paternity leave, then you have lots of kids to take care of.
MR:No, but I leave her at home(laughters)...well it works pretty well when you are on paternity leave. Cause you get up and have a little cozy morning. Then you got to some S.A.T.S. gym. Stadion I have been a lot to.
R:We have been exercising together a couple of times.
MR: We have been even been boxing. You kicked and fell on your butt, I remember.
R:I really did.
MR: Now we move on. Then you leave them(the kids) there on the mini S.A.T.S. 1½ hour.
-Babysitting on the gym.
MR:It's totally bizarre. She gets to do mini bench press and like that.
- You should start early. How old is she now ?
MR: She is around 20 months.
-It's easy to puffy on when you get kids. Many do that.
MR: So I had to shape up, now when I'm starting a solocareer and so.
-Is she sleeping well at night now ?
MR: It's very mixed. She likes to move around a lot.
-But does that mean that she's sleeping in same bed as you ?
MR: Yeah, we are a bit wimpy at that front, but I am not as wimpy as my wife. But it's pretty good to have her in between us.
-Sofia is against this. No, but it's more about discipline. It's hard to stop this. So I usually say like 4 months is the limit. Then...
MR: Do they run to your bed after that ?
Sofia: then I hit them.
MR. So that is what I am going to do ?
Sofia: No but it's a long story. I can talk more about that later. Last time we met then you didn't have any kids. Then we did party in Helsingborg or something.
MR. It was Helsingborg or Malmö. It was a wet night. I remember ..........
Sofia: We don't get into that. When I met you I thought damn what a nice guy and we partied and it felt like we were in same age. Even if I'm older. What fun we have. We are young and then you smash me with saying. You know Sofia, I saw Soffi Propp and I can the whole vinjettsong. And then you sang it for me and immediately I felt so sick old.
Roger: So you looked a lot at Soffi Propp as little ?
MR. I don't think Sofia knows what catch she holds on us 80's in this outfit. She is a little sex symbol. I don't think she understands that.
Sofia: Can I hear the vinjett ?
MR:Not in a radiprogram when I am sober.
Roger: But you remember it ?
MR. Yes absolutely.
-We have it in the computer.
MR. Who is it that sings ?
Sofia: You can guess that now.
Roger: This is a childprogram should we say to the elderly listeners.
Sofia: That I did send for 5 years maybe.
Roger: Here is the signaturesong.
Roger: It's Orup that is singing.
Sofia: I strangled him and forced him to sing. Cause we had divorced then.
Roger: Martin you're not only a popstar. You are not only on paternity leave. You are also productmanager.
MR: Yes, exactly.
Sofia: Many adultpoints there I think.
MR. Yes, I work at Telia Sonera.
Roger: How does it feel to invest in such career ?
MR: So I was always doing something besides the music. I studied att Chalmers, KTH and that kind of stuff when we had BWO. So when I was finished I started to work at Telia Sonera. First with new programming, then I have been by TV, negotiated with MTG among others. Viasat and others, some navigation services which I make commercials for here.
Sofia: Are they surprised when you step In ?
MR. Ah, there's been some weird situations when you have had meetings with people. You look a lot like the guy in that band. And also a bit depending of they think I'm good or not make me leave different answers. But mostly I tell them Aha I hear that pretty often.
Roger: You have to cut down on wearing goldtights at work.
MR: I don't really think so. But think if everyone is wearing a suit, then noone will remember anyone but him with goldtights.
Roger: No exactly.
MR: So that have I been working on a lot and invested in, especially after we put BWO on ice.
Roger: But now your going solo so to say.
MR: Only solo. I have actually been working for 1½ years more or less effective time and found the right people, found what I want to do and also found myself.
Roger: And here is your new singel. Fantastic. We're gonna play it in a while. This is very exciting. We also have a list here. That we have put together this morning. It's all about that you now are released from BWO. Five good things with being without BWO. We have the whole list. Martin Rolinski has broke up with Alexander Bard and Marina Schiptjenko. And now you're in for a solocareer. What is Alexander saying ?
MR: He is so pissed at me..no..
Roger: Is there any schism behind ?
MR: No, definately not. We decided already during spring 2009 that we saw the signs of needing a break. So when we first met, we said that we might do a maximum of 2 plates together. 6-7 plates later we noticed that the creativity was only spinning around. That we need to do something else and all of us also wanted that. So it was very mutual.
Sofia: But it must be hard when you have tasted it and been on the big scenes, met the big audience, now you have to start a bit from beginning even if you have made a name. But it's a but to start all over.
MR: But that is the allure of it all. It was not for the success that we started making music. Or the reason that I make music either. It's bloody fun to write songs and you notice something new with yourself constantly. In the end it's a form of art.
R:Doesn't feel a bit bitter, a bit har that you never succeded to win Melodifestivalen ?
MR: I have gotten that question before and to tell the truth so weren't we properly adjusted to win.
R. Not ?
MR:No, and honestly it has never been really good to win and we were asbolutely aware of that.
S: At same time you are pretty famous abroad also. Maybe it had worked if you had passed the Swedish barrier sort of ?
MR: In Sweden, it is like you think it's good to win Melodifestivalen i Sverige. That something big should happen abroad, but often it's the opposite. Melodifestivalen isn't that big outside the Swedish lines.
S: No
MR: It is big in Sweden
S: In a few countries maybe ?
MR:Yes, but it depends on who is the general for the whole thing, and yes it's always Swedes. So I think that Melodifestivalen is enormous in Sweden and maybe not that big in other countries abroad. It is more important to succeed in Sweden then to win and have to be in this Eurovisionthing.
R: It went very well for BWO in Sweden. Oh my God how many radiohits you had !
MR: Yeah when you start thinking of it like that we had a great 2000's actually.
R: Yes really.
S: You have to tell the grandkids later.
R: Another guy who hasn't won Melodifestivalen is Peter Jöback
R: He was here yesterday.
O: You did a nice turn there.
R: Yeah that was a so called P3 transition.
O: He got one point for a sensation(About Peter Jöback)
R: He came last or second from last.
S: Then he had the other one.
R: Hollow
R: That one was really great. But didn't succeed either.
MR: No unfortunately not.
R: Peter has a question for you and it comes here....
PJ: He is from Poland. I did one thing and Oskar brooke a plate there, so we had to go to Old Town and fix it there. So we went down there. When I gave the man the plate he asked for my name. And I told him Peter Jöback. He got all excited and very happy. But gosh how I have longed to med you. Oh what ? Cause your name home in Poland means sex maniac. Jöback means that. It's so funny for my lastname is a taken name that my dad took patent on. My dad's name was Jönsson nadmy mom's Lind and we had to have JÖ in the beginning so it became Jöback. So my question is if this really means sexmaniac.
R. In the end you got the question Martin
MR: Oh a very obvious sexinvite Peter said, more interesting is how he react on the one I think.
O: Can you speak Polish ?
MR. Ahh, I can Polish.
O: Jöback
MR: No, Jebac. If Peter change letters here and replace Ö with a E and K with a C, then he can have a ongoing very interesting career in Poland I think. Ahh, he has to repositioning his brand a bit and get loose. I don't know how the sexindustry is over there but maybe it's really lucrative.
S: But if he starts practising some musical number.
MR: Maybe he has something alike then.
R: I feel that we are slipping away some. But Jebac mean also sexlunatic ?
MR: Yes, if you change it a bit and then yes maybe it's enough to give him a possibility there.
R: Tomorrow we meet Per Holknekt, the fashion designer.
S. And creator of Odd Molly.
R: And Lena Philipsons man. What would you like to ask him ?
MR: Ohh, I think Per seems to be one of the persons that have done everything. He has been a champion in flipper, a skateboard champion and
R: Been in Big Brother.
MR: And started companies and it has also gone worse for him and the he started Molly. So it feels like he has been in what most people never get into. So I think if someone has been in so much and encountered shit and a lot of good things. What is it that forces you, is it a mantra, a proverb, a drift or is it something you think about. What keeps you going and move on when you have succeed so much and had your ups and downs.
O: It could be revenge maybe.
R: We check this with him tomorrow.
MR: Maybe love.
R: He has a really interesting lifestory Holknekt.
MR: Yes really.
R: That is all with that. We have a test also Ola.
O: No we have a list.
R: Sorry
R: It always is different tests so I am used to that. But we have a list.
O: Yes, we sat on the meeting yesterday and thought now he is, well there's no more BWO. Then we thought all 3 of us, so good for Martin.
R: We call the list "5 good thing to be without BWO".
S: So we have listed it here and thought you could listen and see tell if it's right. If you really like to be without this.
MR: I have paper and pen.
R: Do you take the first one Sofia. Placed on number 5.
S: I take it now. I don't have to pour water over myself to look sexy.
S: I have seen when you have done that. It looks really sexy.
MR: Why should I be released from that only cause Alexander and Marina is not on stage.
R: We thought it was Alexander's idea all the time.
S: Or is it your own idea and you...
MR: I call it the watertrick.
S: Yes cause we saw it on several performances and didn't think it was spontanous.
MR: Yes, but it is like that when you are on tour, you repeat yourself. So I'm not going to do the watertrick again.
R: I heard that Eric Saade got his inspiration from that.
MR: Yes he pays me through STIM and took a shower after that.
O: But have you ever felt like a piece of meat, like Alexander will make profit of your sexy body.
MR: But ofcourse he does that and I think he does the right in that also.
R: We need time to play the song to, so me move on with the list with place number 4.
O: Does it feel good to not hear about that Army Of Lovers is so celestial big in Eastern Europe.
R: Oh he always speak of that.
O: Yes, he does.
MR: But that's right, in facte they are much bigger then you give them credit for in Sweden, cause I have seen that. But oh yes he has the tendency that maybe talk a lot of his success and twist them in a way yes.
R: Number 3.
S: Should I take it now. You don't have to go to Marina's vernissage every Sunday
MR: But unfortunately not I don't do and I do regret that. I like to go to her vernissage for they are often fantastic and or the artists she shows.
O: She has a art studio?
R: She's a gallery.
O: Number 2. Is it good to not have to see Alexander get food in his beard when you for instance eat lunch.
MR: Yes absolutely that is the nicest. When you have french onionsoup together with Alexander then you have to wait with your lunch.
O: Not beautiful.
MR: No
R: Five good things to be without BWO. Number 1.
S: You don't have to walk around in Camilla Thulin's tight corsets and weird creations. They taunted in the second Melodifestivalen competition there.
MR: Yes, it flipped out totally there.
S. You couldn't even walk.
MR: Alexander first of all. He can't walk in high heels like I can. But the answer is yes, it feels really nice to not have to wear theatreclothes.
R: What kind of style are you going to have.
MR: It will be smurf clothes. No but fashion has always interested me big time. I will focus a lot to find the right brands and really interesting creations that works together. Not really creations, maybe it's something that doesn't fit here. I will have something that feels right for me and is fashion and great.
R: Now we are going to listen to your new singel. What's the name.
MR: It's called Blame It On a Decent Matter.
R: I think we don't say more, we listen instead.
Thank you Nettan for translating this into English. I really hope this CD will be available in the USA.
